Brownell Travel
Rives transformed luxury travel agency Brownell Travel’s existing office space into an updated, more functional space. Renovations included a large new conference and board room, a new lobby and an open collaboration area.
Schoel Engineering
Rives completed a full interior renovation as well as an exterior restoration of land-development services firm Schoel Engineering’s two-story office building. Exterior work included the addition of a balcony to the second floor.
Growth Capital Partners
As the general contractor for real estate investment holding and management firm Growth Capital Partners, Rives completed a full renovation of the 15th floor of a high-end office space in downtown Birmingham.
This office space was the second project Rives and William Blackstock Architects worked on together for this client. The existing structure, location of the HVAC equipment and ceiling and deck heights required careful coordination to achieve the client’s desired architectural look. Despite these and other challenges, Rives was able to successfully complete the project on time.
O’Neal Industries
Rives renovated an existing second-floor office space located in The Crescent Building for ONi, a leader in metal distribution and services.
The overall renovation included a new high-end lobby area, breakroom, training and board rooms, new offices, break-out spaces and team meeting rooms. All areas of the project received new finishes, including hardwood flooring, new carpet and paint, custom wood pivot doors, new glass doors and office fronts, new millwork and quartz countertops, custom wall graphics, custom metal wall paneling, upgraded LED and decorative light fixtures and upgraded mechanical systems.
