March 5-11 is Women in Construction Week, a time to celebrate the important role of women in the construction industry. We’re thankful for the women on our team who make Rives a wonderful place to work and contribute to our company’s success daily.

What do you enjoy about working at Rives?
We’re family. The comradery, respect, support, palpable Christian values, and love between all of us (yes, ALL of us), isn’t like anything I’ve ever been a part of in my career. It is truly a joy to come to work every day. I’m so blessed to be a small part of this amazing family!
What are you most proud of in your career so far?
The longevity here with Rives gives me a sense of pride. I truly am proud to represent this company in the small roll I have in this amazing group. To have put up with me (not easy to do, by any stretch) all these years, well, each of them deserve special recognition for that!

What do you enjoy about working at Rives?
The environment at Rives is very laid back. There is no micromanagement and I feel trusted in my capabilities. The leadership team is caring and shows their appreciation for my contributions.
What are you most proud of in your career so far? I am proud that I was able to learn the systems we use quickly and how much I’ve been able to learn about this industry in the short time I’ve been with Rives. I have been able to resolve overdue balances and keep our accounts current and respond quickly to all inquiries.

The people! From the office to the field, our team is made up of some of the most excellent people I’ve ever met – humble, hardworking, skilled, supportive, generous, smart, who laugh easily & often, and who feel like family.
What are you most proud of in your career so far? The relationships I’ve built along the way – I’ve been inspired and challenged by a pretty diverse group of amazing professionals. I have learned to value their insight and gain from their wisdom.
